Phase Change Material (PCM) based coolant packs provide advanced thermal protection when shipping temperature-sensitive products, especially critical when required for ultra cold cold  products. When PCMs melt and freeze, or change phases of matter between solid and liquid, they maintain a constant temperature equal to their melting/freezing point. Phase Change Materials is a collective name for a number of materials such as paraffins, salt hydrates and fatty acids. All of these PCM materials have their specific advantages and disadvantages.  The products are delivered through HDPE bottles and LDPE Pheno Foam Brick packs

 

 Phase Change Materials (PCMs) are ideal products for thermal management solutions. This is because they store and release thermal energy during the process of melting & freezing (changing from one phase to another). When such a material freezes, it releases large amounts of energy in the form of latent heat of fusion, or energy of crystallization. Conversely, when the material is melted, an equal amount of energy is absorbed from the immediate environment as it changes from solid to liquid.
